Pets Being Shipped by IPATA

We often get phone calls in the administration office and the person on the other end of the phone wants to know about the pet that they were told has been shipped by IPATA. 
IPATA is a membership organization whose "members" ship pets but under their own company names!  Further, no member of IPATA can use the name IPATA as part of their company name. IPATA is a trademarked name. You can read more about the actual scams and how to avoid them by clicking here
If anyone tells you IPATA is shipping a pet that is a red flag warning....

IPATA does not ship any animals!
There is no puppy!

If a website or email has an IPATA logo on it, you can verify IPATA membership by searching on our        "Find a Pet Shipper" section and check to see if the company name is listed. 

If the name is NOT listed, THEY ARE NOT A MEMBER OF IPATA!
