Requirements for Associate Membership

Associate membership is open to those that  provide goods and services to professional pet shippers - such as kennel manufacturers, insurance companies, airlines, microchip distributors, border inspection posts, quarantine facilities (who do not transport pets), etc.

Prospective members are required to read and understand IPATA’s Membership Criteria, Code of Ethics and By-Laws though it is recognized that not all items would apply to all associate members.

IMPORTANT:  If you ship pets as part of your business, you DO NOT qualify for an Associate Membership. 
You would need to apply for an "Active" Membership.  If you complete an Association Membership application and
transport or arrange for the transport of pets at any time, you will be notified to go back and start over by completing an "Active Membership" application!
